Social Conscience

Dave Spirk and his wife, Karen, are Board Members and Advisors for the Kosovo Learning Academy, a private school located in Mitrovica, Kosovo. This school was established as a free after school program for students in Mitrovica and the surrounding area who had one or both parents killed in the ethnic cleansing associated with this part of the Balkan Wars which ended in 1999. Now, the school has been deeded land by the city council, and have entered into a $3 million dollar building campaign. If you are interested in how you can help, please click here.
